Disaster Relief Thwarted for Socorro Hailstorm Damage

October 5th was a difficult day for the folks in Socorro.  The sky opened up with one of those incredible displays of nature's power that tends to leave you with a sense of awe.  It hailed like it hasn’t in a century and it was like a battle scene in Baghdad within seconds.  Those of us in the El Camino Restaurant were of course dismayed to see our cars being totaled in front of our very eyes.  Windows were popping everywhere and metal, paint chips and rocks were ricocheting all over.

The storm wasn’t even over and disaster coordinator Toby Jaramillo was already on the phone.  His first attempts to summon the Federal help he anticipated was snubbed with no response. Toby got back on the phone and this time called the Governor of the State of New Mexico.  The next day there was a delegation that arrived to assess the scene and they were surprised to see it was indeed a disaster and was not being overstated.  Then Toby set about to call out the neighborhood and a meeting convened at City Hall where they approved a form to be filled out by claimants and submitted before the 12th of October.

Soon after, that a cover letter was added to the form written by State Representative Don Tripp and the two papers were distributed around town.  When we read the form at Libertysteward.com we were immediately disturbed by the admonishment on the form directed at persons without liability insurance and without any insurance which said that they would not have to fill out the form as they would not be covered anyway.  In other words they would not be included in the damage assessment, nor would they be compensated by any disaster relief. At least that was the message whether or not it was intended that way, because most folks that read that form and didn’t have coverage just gave up and went home.  That appears to be what the tactic was intended to do exactly.  By counting the damage sustained by people with collision, property and casualty insurance only the total figures submitted to the Feds would be understated and the end result is that Socorro would get fewer funds back.  It is sad enough that the Congress is as we speak trying to steal from the Agriculture Conservation Fund to pay for western drought claims and the post hurricane damages by storms out West; it's a bad thing to play politics with disaster relief.

The intervention by Don Tripp was a blatant political move in the midst of a community mobilization to address a genuine emergency and many people I spoke to today were very upset about that.  Our disaster coordinator has been unfortunately upstaged by Don Tripp in the past when he address a recent emergency in Alamo.  Mr. Tripp had a news release published which gave him the credit for work Toby Jaramillo actually accomplished in his role as Disaster Coordinator for Socorro and Mr. Tripp's office merely put their stamp on it.  There is stress between local officials vying for political position and forming up ranks on various sides of this issue.  What we really need is clearly delegated authority to call out a response to local emergencies for our Emergency Coordinator.  He must have the respect and cooperation of the other public officials who have to be able to put their egos aside to really cooperate and respond to public safety issues in a timely efficient manner. Instead we have a coyote fight over who is going to have the most public prominence and get name identification with the issue. That’s sad.

When asked about the allegation of many that claimed the poorest would be left out of the damage estimation Mr. Tripp responded: ‘If they had liability only on no insurance they wouldn’t be able to collect anyway”.  He did however also state that he favored the extension of the deadline beyond October 12th.

Mayor Bashkar was out and about on Columbus Day and when we asked him what he thought about the issue he said he felt "It was unfortunate that the poor had been singled out not to get any help and that he planned to lay low on the issue until he saw what State Authorities decided to do about it."  Of course, we understand that since he is running for Mr. Tripp’s current office in a few weeks time he may have a lot more to say soon and he will be heard.

The poor should not be left out rather they should be the centerpiece of disaster relief and our disaster coordinator at the local level should have more say in how folks get help and when they need it.  Toby Jaramillo is in touch with his community and folks love him for his Turkey giveaway every year for the last 30 years.  He doesn’t deserve to be snubbed. Keep up the good work Toby and don’t let the politicos mess up the care the People ought to receive. Our hat is off to you.

New Mexico’s Iraq Prison Connection

The recent Iraqi debacle of prisoner abuse and torture at Abu Ghraib sadly mirrors what has been happening in too many American prisons, here in New Mexico and across the country. The abuse of prisoners is nothing new in a country that is increasingly turning its prison system over to private, for–profit corporations and now records the highest rates of incarceration in the world.

New Mexico itself has a somewhat eerie (some would call it prescient) link to Abu Ghraib. Lane McCotter, the man who was put in charge of reopening that prison and helped establish the harsh and punishing conditions there, spent four scandal–marked years running New Mexico’s prisons from 1987 to 1991. Management & Training Corporation (MTC), the company McCotter works for, has been criticized by U.S. Justice Department investigators and in civil court actions for the violent, poorly staffed prisons that it still runs, including the Santa Fe County Jail where an inmate was beaten to death by other inmates earlier this month. Only two guards were on duty in that cell block at the time.

As director of business development for MTC, McCotter “sells” his company to various state and municipal authorities that contract for the private management and operation of correctional institutions. MTC operated 11 prisons in the U.S. and Canada including two in New Mexico — the Santa Fe and McKinley County corrections facilities — until last year when it lost the contract for McKinley County. The company now jails about 7,000 inmates, of which about 1,000 are in this state.

Lane McCotter has been ever–present during New Mexico legislative sessions and at interim hearings of the Corrections Oversight Committee. He also worked as a private consultant, monitoring New Mexico prisons, and advising the legislature and corrections department during the Gary Johnson administration.

McCotter is your basic “good old boy.” He’s a big man, over six feet tall, with a shock of thick white hair, watery blue eyes and a portly carriage. McCotter had a successful career in the military, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam where he reached the level of lieutenant colonel in the MP. By 1981 McCotter became commandant of the disciplinary barracks of the military prison at Ft. Leavenworth in Kansas. In laymen’s terms, McCotter was the warden. After his retirement, he moved to Texas where he was director of prisons from 1985 to 1987.

Questionable past

In ’87, New Mexico’s then–Governor Garrey Carruthers named him Secretary of Corrections, a position he maintained until 1991, one year into Bruce King’s final term. When McCotter began running New Mexico’s prisons, they were operating under the federally–mandated Duran Consent Decree which was designed to improve conditions following the horrific prison riot at the state penitentiary in 1980. The consent decree was the result of class action lawsuits filed by cousins Dwight and Lonnie Duran, among other prisoners, to force the state to address the terrible conditions at the pen. After some 20 years of federal oversight, the decree was finally lifted in 2000, under then–Governor Gary Johnson’s watch.

By 1988, already chafing under the Duran decree’s federal supervision, McCotter was accused of covering up the abuse of a prisoner. Cuffed and shackled, the prisoner was allegedly beaten by guards and repeatedly slammed against a wall. Federal Court Special Master Vince Nathan requested the video tape of the incident as part of his ongoing supervision of the state’s prison under the Duran decree, but the section that contained the alleged beating had been erased. McCotter maintained that the erasure was an “accident” and that the federal prison monitor was “fabricating atrocities.” All of the action leading up to and following the event, however, was still on the tape.

Mark Donatelli, one of the attorneys in the landmark Duran case, has said that McCotter disdained oversight and felt that the prison conditions were “nobody’s business” — not even the federal court’s. This became clear when McCotter tried, unsuccessfully, to have the court vacate the Duran decisions. Donatelli characterized McCotter’s tenure as “oppressive and abusive.”

McCotter left New Mexico to become corrections director in Utah in 1992, where he stayed until his resignation in 1997. McCotter resigned amid a storm of controversy following the death of a prisoner there. Security tapes showed that Michael Valent, a 29–year–old schizophrenic, refused a direct order to remove a pillowcase he’d placed over his head to keep his “demons” at bay. A SWAT team forcibly extracted him from his cell and stripped him naked — his clothing cut off by guards — and strapped to a restraint chair for 16 hours. Graphic video tapes show guards tightening the leg restraints to the most restrictive degree. Three hours after he was removed from the chair, Valent collapsed and died in the shower from a pulmonary embolism.

At the time, McCotter’s spokesperson at the Utah Corrections Department stated that the prisoner had been seen banging his head on the wall of his cell. An autopsy by the medical investigator, however, did not find evidence to support that claim, stating instead that the death had been caused by prolonged restraint, resulting in a lethal blood clot that blocked an artery and caused the embolism. McCotter defended the use of the chair saying “we have to have some way to control unruly inmates.”

Private practice

McCotter left government work and hired on with MTC, a Salt Lake City–based private prison company, as director of business development. On McCotter’s watch, MTC has been at the center of several prison and jail problems in New Mexico for the past several years. In September of last year, MTC lost its contract with McKinley County Jail after a series of problems, including the escape of four prisoners. Inadequate staffing — cutting corners on the Fourth of July holiday weekend — was determined by state law enforcement officials to have been a primary factor in the escape.

MTC still runs the Santa Fe Correctional Facility where allegations of abuse and neglect have proliferated. On Jan. 13, 2002, a pre–trial arrestee was found hanging dead in his cell. Tyson Johnson was 27 years old, and had been in the jail for only a couple of weeks. His mother, Suzan Garcia, had been in close contact with her son. She was worried about him; he had suffered several recent losses, the holiday season was difficult, and he was deeply depressed.

According to papers filed in civil court and a lengthy Justice Department report, she phoned the jail repeatedly asking that he receive medication and see a doctor. Her pleas were ignored; Johnson never saw a doctor or a psychiatrist. MTC had no psychiatrist or psychologists on staff — or even on call, according to the lawsuit. One counselor was responsible for more than 600 prisoners and was unable to adequately meet prisoners’ needs. Attorneys for Johnson’s family, Jeff Haas and Mariel Nanasi, characterize counseling practices at the jail as inadequate, inhumane, and even abusive. Ten days after his arrest, Johnson slashed his wrists and his neck, and was subsequently put in the “rubber room.” The padding on one of the walls, however, had been torn off leaving nails, screws, and boards exposed. Johnson was made to strip and was left naked in the cell with nothing but a blanket. According to the lawsuit, the day before Johnson’s suicide, a nurse requested that a visiting social worker see him. They urged guards to closely monitor Johnson, but their requests were ignored. Johnson wrote a will — a virtual suicide note — the day before he died. The next day he asked a guard for water and threatened suicide, saying “This is it! I’m gonna do it!” Ten minutes later he was found hanging in his cell.

Court papers say the lieutenant on duty was called. His first response was immobility. “I just froze,” he stated in a recent deposition. Then he asked one of the guards to get a camera and he took pictures of Johnson hanging in his cell. Next, he notified his superior in the chain of command. Finally, someone suggested they cut Johnson down and apply CPR. By that time Johnson was dead, leaving behind two children and a family that loved him.

The defendants in the lawsuit were Santa Fe Co., MTC and PNA (Physician Network Associates), which is contracted by the county to provide medical care at the facility. “MTC, PNA and the county of Santa Fe have been deliberately indifferent to medical and mental health needs of prisoners at the Santa Fe jail because they are more interested in making money and filling beds than providing the most basic medical services,” said Nanasi.

On June 8, after almost ten hours of negotiations, Nanasi and Haas reached a settlement on behalf of Tyson Johnson’s family. Although the amount of the settlement is confidential, Hass said “this is the highest settlement for suicide that I’ve ever seen.” Hass says he believes that the decision of MTC and PNA to settle makes a significant statement — if not a direct admission — about the insufficient and poor staffing, as well as the abhorrent medical and mental health care at the Santa Fe County facility.

At this time, 40 percent of approximately 6,000 New Mexico prisoners are housed in private prisons, the highest rate in the nation. “The use of private, for–profit prisons is a step backward for the open and accountable government movement,” said Stephen Raher, co–director and senior policy analyst for the Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition. “Corporate prisons significantly reduce the tax payers’ ability to scrutinize the operations and fiscal management of the corrections system — a worrisome and frankly dangerous trend.”

More than that, critics charge that private prison companies have little interest in rehabilitation or programs that allow inmates to reduce their jail time. The companies make no money on empty cells. They also keep a very close watch on costs, commonly paying lower salaries and offering lesser benefits than government–run facilities, along with offering fewer services to inmates.

In July of 2003, following a Santa Fe County sheriff’s investigation, six defendants — one of them a guard at the facility — were charged with smuggling drugs into the MTC facility in Santa Fe. One month earlier, a guard had been put on leave after a female prisoner told police she’d been sexually assaulted on more than one occasion. A subsequent Justice Department investigation showed medical neglect, lack of mental health care, easy access to illicit drugs, filthy conditions, allegations of abuse, and lack of educational services at the Santa Fe institution.

In March of 2003, the Department of Justice released its findings on conditions at the MTC Santa Fe Correctional Facility, concluding that prisoners’ constitutional rights had been violated. As a result, the feds pulled out approximately 100 federal prisoners who were housed there.

On May 20, 2003 — less than three months after the Santa Fe findings were made public — Lane McCotter was appointed by U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft to go to Iraq as a member of ICITAP (International Criminal Investigation Training Assistance Program). He and three other corrections professionals (all with similarly questionable records, including a connection to the notorious Wallens Ridge State Prison in Virginia where dozens of New Mexico prisoners allege they were abused and tortured in 1999) were to assist in opening prisons and act as advisors in reconstructing Iraq’s criminal justice system. The Justice Department’s press release states that “the advisors will assist the DOD [Department of Defense], and ORHA [Office of Reconstruction and Humanitarian Assistance] … providing logistical and other support to the DOJ–led international team in the effort to restore law and order in Iraq.” The press release further states that the “primary goals of the teams will be making initial assessments … providing recommendations regarding the reestablishment of criminal justice institutions, as well as participating in the development of a strategic, long–range, sustainable plan for policing, prosecutions, corrections and court systems.”

The press release provides a brief biography for McCotter, mentions that he is “a former cabinet secretary for the NM Corrections Department” but says nothing about his Texas and Utah experiences. “McCotter and [the other three corrections officials sent to Iraq] epitomize the revolving door politics of private prisons,” said Ken Kopczynski, executive director for the Private Corrections Institute based in Tallahassee, Florida, and author of the recently released Private Capitol Punishment. “Each is a former high–ranking corrections official who turns to private industry upon retiring and does consulting for the public systems. Hopefully, the Abu Ghraib scandal will expose this revolving door.”

The Justice Department has not explained how or why a man with McCotter’s past was chosen for duty in Iraq. Senator Charles Schumer (D–New York) is calling for an investigation into why the Justice Department would pick McCotter when its own investigators had been so critical of his prison management. McCotter has issued a statement denying that he had anything to do with training guards or with the atrocities at Abu Ghraib.

McCotter, was interviewed in January by corrections.com, an online newsletter for the corrections industry, and spoke about his time in Iraq as a great adventure. The team he was on did assessments and wrote a plan for operating facilities, training personnel, and activating the prisons. The assessment was to be done in 30 days under direct instructions from Presidential Ambassador Envoy Paul Bremer who had just been placed in charge of the Coalition Provisional Authority.

Two of the team, McCotter and Terry Stewart, a former chief of police and director of the Arizona Department of Corrections, were assigned to restore Abu Ghraib. It was the largest and most intimidating of all Iraqi prisons, a “monstrous prison built in 1960 by the Germans,” according to Stewart. McCotter stated, however, that it was “truly closest to an American prison,” with long rows of cells in secure units, instead of dormitories that allow free movement, which characterized most Iraqi prisons. Abu Ghraib had long rows of isolation cells inside large housing units. It had been, after all, the worst prison in Iraq during the regime of Saddam Hussein.

McCotter said of the experience, “It was an amazing thing — everything you have ever learned in your life came into play — you didn’t have a staff — you were it — you had to plan the reconstruction, get the funding for it, hire the crews, draw the money and oversee the crews … you literally had to tell them everything you wanted them to do.”

Stewart and a few other team members left by early July, leaving McCotter and Utah crony Gary DeLand, now also his partner in a prison consulting firm, in charge. In Utah, DeLand told writer Dan Frosch of The Nation magazine that they were paid $8,500 a month for the assignment initially with an increase to $12,000 toward the end of their four month tour.\

DeLand and McCotter said they focused their final efforts on recruiting personnel. Training lasted three weeks. At the same time, McCotter and DeLand were fiscal managers of the prison system, handling purchasing in a rather unconventional way. There were no banks, and at one point, DeLand stated that they “had $3 million sitting in a locked metal box in the bathroom. I would fill the cargo pockets of my pants full of $100 bills and buy vehicles or whatever we needed.”

McCotter spoke of the progress they’d made in Iraq: “Gary [DeLand] and I opened Al Hillah in August.” In Mosul, one prison and several detention facilities were opened as well. “The last thing Gary and I did was to open two cell blocks [in] Abu Ghraib,” McCotter said. Although DeLand was leaving, McCotter remained and was joined by former Connecticut prison chief, John Armstrong, under whose supervision two prisoners had died at Wallens Ridge. Just before he left, DeLand proudly elaborated, “The day before I left, we went out and held ribbon cutting ceremony at Abu Ghraib, with the first 500 beds ready to open and another 500 getting ready that week. We were creating history.”  CW

The October 5th meeting of the Valencia County Commission turned out to be a pivotal point in the battle to stop the Power Plant in Rio Communities Industrial Center.

It was announced that Commissioner Mary Anderson would not be at the scheduled October 20th Meeting on the Moratorium put in place through the efforts of Larry Alba and other community leaders. This really makes Mary Anderson look like she’s the foot person for People’s Powers interest for the Valencia County area. It did not escape the attention of Libertysteward.com and its reporters in the audience. It also did not escape the attention of our viewers that the attorney for People’s Power was there and left after Mary Anderson’s announcement. We are not the only ones that noticed her continually making eyes at the attorney in question, as if looking for a lead on what to say. That seemed to be the sole reason they were there as there was no other business pertaining to the issue on the agenda that night. The Moratorium Meeting was postponed until November 3rd and the People’s attorney left with a smug smile on his face. This, of course, was a planned event facilitated by Mary Anderson and intended to give People’s Power a window of opportunity between the 20th of Oct and the 3 of Nov to make their move and be within their rights. Mr. Alba is strenuously protesting their action as it represents their breaking their word again after having promised the community this respite until the subject of correcting the zoning can be properly addressed.

It was equally disappointing to note that Ruben Chavez seems honed on being the People’s Power man on the spot in the Zoning Department which he has basically inherited after the other rats left the sinking ship.. He has this nasty habit of putting falsified maps in front of the Commissioners and asking them to sign off on illegal I-3 zoning changes. He did just that at the September meeting and Commissioner Paul Trujillo refused to sign on to it, just as he has adamantly done in all the previous Commission meetings. We all thought you were working for the people of Valencia County Ruben, whatever happened to your oath of office - did you swear it to People’s Power or the People. Just who do you really work for Ruben!?  When asked about the Moratorium Mr. Trujillo explained: The public needs to know what is about to happen to their air, water and property values, and if they care they need to show up and stand up for what is theirs to defend.” 

We all owe Paul Trujillo a great deal for being the only commissioner so far to show and enlightened stance on this issue.  Paul has shown strong leadership and maintained good faith with all of his constituents by looking out for the well being of the community when the sharks have been circling and having their way with our property and civil rights. He has continued to try and conclude the business of setting right the illegal off-board changes that were made by other conspirators who have since left the scene.  Mr. Alba has spent incredible sums of money defending his own and the communities interest and with him nipping at their heels both the previous county attorney resigned as well as the old county manager. 

Both left under a black cloud of suspicion and although they may not be in those jobs any more the pressure is not coming off. An ongoing discovery and investigation of this fraudulent act is underway.  Both the ex-County Attorney and the ex-County Manager are subjects of this ongoing investigation. 

Apparently one of them has a solid record of having falsified public records to effect an illegal zoning changes.  None of this has been missed by any of us in the citizens groups targeting this issue.

When pressed on the matter Mr. Trujillo was very forthcoming stating: “I talked to the county manager and the attorney and told them I disagreed with the alleged expiration date, because the language of the moratorium states that it is to allow time to develop a policy that deals with issues of public health and safety...... which has not been done.”  He went on to note that community leaders should strive to put new moratorium language on his desk and that of the County Manager as soon as possible before the next meeting.  (Any suggestions you have can be directed to editor@libertysteward.com and we will post them here for your consideration in the second part  of this article called “Read the full Story”. under this very article title.  If it is no longer  the current Headline Story simply continue to scroll down under the Headline Story and you will  find this article in the News Section.)

Dear Michael Trujillo and Gary Daves, 

We request that we be placed on the agenda as an Action Item to answer the question of the validity of the Zoning change that appeared in November 1999 in regard to the (high level) I-3 Heavy Industrial Designation of the Rio Grande Industrial Park.  The evidence we have found proves that this is a (low level) I-1 Resource Industrial District.  This question has been asked repeatedly for the last Two Plus years, and an acceptable answer has never been put forth.

As landowners of properties that directly abut this industrial park we have never been notified of not only the change of zoning, or even the request or intent to change the zoning as required by state laws.  This is a violation of our civil rights, and must be corrected.  For Facts related to this matter please refer to the complaint letter from Lawrence Alba dated May 25, 2004.

Please also note that there was a recent appointment to discuss this matter with our state representative Kandy Cordova. She was the Valencia County Clerk in 1999.  She immediately noticed and declared that the clerks attested handwritten date on the zoning map was a forgery of her handwriting of the date of November 8, 1999.

We need to rally around Paul Trujillo and show up in force to combat this conspiracy to commit fraud and the subsequent squandering of Public Funds over an issue that never should have been allowed to go this far.  The bad decisions on the part of public officials prior to Paul Trujillo’s arrival on the Commission has left the County of Valencia open to lawsuits by People’s Power Company or lawsuits by citizens coalitions on the other side.  So its either going to be their loss or ours.  That is what happens when people entrusted with the Public Welfare ignore proper conventions to make changes on blueprints.  Any engineer worth his pay would know that no changes are allowed to any engineering document unless the proper changes and revisions are noted in the Revision Block column and they can only be signed of by the responsible party, the checker of the draft and the final engineering released document which at that points has all the bells and whistles of a legal beagle!  This dog won’t hunt!  Show up and be counted - our community, its health and welfare and our way of life is clearly at stake.  We must help Commissioner Paul Trujillo to stop this I-3 zoning and have the building moratorium extended in the industrial zone.

A letter to the editor of my local paper:

To the Defensor Chieftain of Socorro County.

That plant is a terrorist! We need to kill it, we’re coming in to your property like it or not. Oppose us and go to jail! Try to stop us and we’ll designate you an enemy combatant and turn your world upside down.

Years ago folks would have thought you were writing the next Disney cartoon or maybe a script for a movie on the Russian Gulag, but a story about America would have never contained a line like that!  But it’s not fiction, it is real, and politicians like Steve Pearce are bringing this insanity to your front door.  How can they do this?  They started out to destroy personal private property rights by taking aim at a humble Tamarisk plant.  They demonized it as a ravenous water hungry green leafy monster lurking out there in the Bosque with its co-conspirator the evil Russian Olive tree.  Both of these demons had been brought in to the region over a hundred years ago to stabilize the banks of the Rio Grande from erosion.  They had since become the established forage and life protecting cover for the white winged dove so plentiful in New Mexico and the Pheasant as well as several other species.  But according to the government facilitators these were “invaders”, sucking up water, making salt, and multiplying like crazy. They never mentioned that very lazy landowners that still practice outmoded and wasteful irrigation techniques to grow little more than alfalfa for a government pampered dairy and horse businesses never bothered to undertake a systematic weeding or land maintenance program.  They didn’t believe in being good stewards of the land until the banks were hopelessly overgrown.  Then, as usual, in a poor state occupied by the federal government every body looked to the feds to bail them out.  Only one problem, that would violate states rights, private property rights and other levels of Constitutionally prescribed laws. Not for long! Now, thanks to the current administration and its cronies in business there are 14 different invasive species seizure jurisdiction laws before Congress and laws on a state level are being made to get down on their knees before federal and even internationally crafted environmental law aimed at private property rights, easement variances and national sovereignty as well as water law and productive land use. Everything the states have as guarantees and protections for their citizens and their autonomy is being tailored to allow for heavy handed corporate fascism to literally take over our country and its environment.  Federal Energy policy and right away has been made mandatory and a matter of National Security so energy right away has unrestrained easements more powerful than Imminent Domain.

When Steve Pearce held hearings for Invasive Species he chose to deny a qualified, experienced Fish and Game Scientist’s testimony Dr. James Beers and chose to listen to an associate political science professor who was little more than a co-facilitator for Steve Pearce.  This man gave Congressman Pearce a seven point plan crafted specifically to dupe private property owners into abdicating their own rights to access their own property autonomously and without threat to their security or person or property.  He literally engineered a declaration of terrorist war against nature and man like it was just any day in the business of Washington.  How dare he take the principles of our Great Constitution and subject it to the attack on civil rights.  Private property rights, the rights of entire species to be free of chemical dumping and unfair environmental assault and the rights of future human populations to be able to reproduce normally and have an environment and water supply untainted by pollution is at stake here. Instead he facilitates the dumping of huge amounts of undisclosed toxins and poison all over the Rio Grande and its watershed. All this despite the very own product label of the manufacturer warning not to use it in wetlands, near agricultural crops or any where it might get into water.  And now these shameless fascists even want to stifle dissent against this wrongful act against the people by not allowing those against it to get any press coverage.

Look at some of the warnings a real scientist with 30 years experience in fish and game laws has to say in the testimony before Steve Pearce.  It’s not like he hasn’t been informed of the blatantly unconstitutional flavor of his legislation:

Mr. Chairman, it is wrong for Congress to consider passage of a law to confer federal jurisdiction over any plant or animal occurring within the United States. Such jurisdiction was assigned to state governments by the Constitution, and can only be taken from the states by a Treaty or an Amendment to the Constitution.

Invasive Species jurisdiction seizure is being attempted with 14 bills before Congress; federal agency proposals for new programs; and United Nations plans for a proposed Treaty to either Control Invasive Species or Restore Native Ecosystems, which is the same thing.  Our Founding Fathers placed the jurisdiction over plants and animals at the state level for, among other reasons, the inherent responsiveness of the lowest level of government to citizen concerns. The Endangered Species Act verifies repeatedly the wisdom of the Fathers in this regard. 

That Act has eliminated businesses, communities, and fish and wildlife management programs and their financial support. It has justified taking without compensation, that is specifically prohibited in the Constitution. It has made professors and science responsive to government grants and bureaucratic regulation.  It has changed the emphasis of many federal agencies from proactive natural resource managers, to public land locksmiths who reintroduce unwanted and harmful native species on private lands.

The proposed Invasive Species program will be worse.  It will start, like Endangered Species, with a modest list of a few noxious plants like leafy spurge and yellow starthistle. Then bureaucrats and courts will add species, subspecies, populations, etc. to the List.  Soon a Court will affirm a lawsuit that claims elimination of "Invasive Species" is a federal responsibility, so its natural goal is the restoration of "Native" ecosystems.  Mr. Chairman, that goal is neither desirable nor attainable.  The only beneficiaries of such a policy will be federal agency budgets, University Grant offices, and non-governmental organizations bent on restricting property rights and human uses of natural resources.  Our ecosystem should be managed to reflect our needs, and our Constitution, not the socialist intentions of environmental philosophies.

As a Congressional Candidate in the last election I reserve a clear right to be heard even though for reasons of my own I have decided to not muddy the current race, albeit I don’t agree with the current muddy middle and its pathetic centrist quandary.  My comments will speak to the corrupted value system they are both clinging two as they push their two-party deadlock on the rest of us.  Nothing gets done for the people and the little guy sees the evil vine of corporately facilitated lawmaking growing slowly around the citizen’s feet and eventually engulfing him in the crossfire.  Now I have faced yet another assault on my civil rights by men in the shadows. In the last election I was written out of the news in Valencia County by the local paper who at the last minute in the Final Candidates Forum failed to publish anything about me.  Yet I was the only Congressional Candidate that showed up at the Belen School Debate and a Public Debate at the Valencia County Campus of the University of New Mexico .  The Defensor Chieftain kept it low key, but did run me in the candidate’s forum.  I was the only candidate in New Mexico to answer Project Vote Smarts Questionnaire on the Issues. I debated Gloria Tristani quite effectively on Public Access TV which my Congressional District is denied access to. I was on the Patty Gladstone interview hour and I was a guest on Hemp TV as I was speaking on the issue of drug reform.  Yet a major newspaper chose to write me out of the race.  The Albuquerque Journal made like I didn’t exist even though I was the only candidate to appear before the Medical Board of Doctors for Medicare Reimbursement Meeting and sat next to 3 Journal reporters whom I even spoke to at length. NPR didn’t mention me, KKOB blackballed my candidacy.  A month ago I went to a major meeting on Water Pollution in Socorro County in my home town of Veguita attended by about 50 people mostly business men, state employees, politicians and only 2 citizens from the community.  It was covered in the Defensor Chieftain and the Valencia Bulletin (both owned by the Albuquerque Journal) It was on a Thursday at 1 PM at the School when most concerned citizens would not be able to attend.  They presented the same non-action plan as they had in the last ten years and so I stood up and challenged their data, their conclusions and their pitiful plan to do nothing.  The newspaper article contained no mention of dissent, no body was on record complaining and my name was once again written out of the press. 

Bear in mind I am a properly registered Green Party Member.  I am 58 years of age, bicultural, bilingual and fluent at that, and college educated.  I have worked for government contractors, I have been the chief shop steward of a 2,000 man shipyard, a member of the Engineers and Architects Association of San Diego CA, a member of the Brotherhood of Carpenters and Boatwrights and Shipwrights.  Although my income is modest and fixed I spend every nickel trying to get the truth out because I passionately love my country and believe that the truth must be our only guide in good governance. And yet just last week as I finally felt others might get to hear of my efforts and my e-magazine of integral and sustainable politics called LibertySteward.com something really crummy took place that struck fear into the hearts of several people I know.  I felt finally my attempts to protect the people of New Mexico from being lied to and slicked into agro-chemical dumping would get noticed and enjoy the attention it deserves and yet I sustained a terrible blow delivered at my first amendment rights once again at the hands of the PRESS. 

A young man had contacted me from a local New Mexican Newspaper.  He was doing research on Salt Cedar and was in the beginning skeptical of some of what I was writing.  He did the research and was calling to tell me he wanted to write about my efforts, he wanted to break the story statewide and granted me an interview.  Apparently there were others out there not being heard and also being misaligned because they took a stand on the issue.  But NO NEW MEXICO, you are not allowed to know the truth so when he turned in the story he was immediately fired. How many acts against my civil rights must I endure before someone in my community decides it matters?  Now my efforts to bring the truth to my fellow citizens has been dashed again at the expense of a man’s livelihood.  Is it really necessary to humble a man’s intellect and his fair and honest efforts to participate in the public forum and crush them with partisanship to show loyalty to political agendas?  What happened to truth, justice and the American Way? Mr. Pearce I call you to the carpet publicly. You are not above the American People.  I call on you to publicly debate the merits of this program you have crafted with myself and Dr. James Beers and others.  I publicly accuse you of stifling dissent on this issue by relying on mean spirited partisanship and an assault on civil rights to carry out your corporate imperatives to assist the chemical companies in illegal dumping of toxic waste into the heartland of New Mexico.  How Dare You?!

Fraudulent Zoning Changes Alleged over Power Plant Issue In Valencia County - Larry Alba Landowner Struggles to Defend Himself and Fellow Property Owners

The Federal Appeals Court reversed the decision of Judge Sanchez on a Lower New Mexico court who had ruled in Larry Alba's behalf regarding the illegal zoning change contrived by county authorities who seem to have been caught in a elaborate web of lies and suspected influence peddling.

Now the ball is back in the People's Power camp and Larry and others are hopping mad. In a desperate plea to county officials to right the process and side on behalf of 500 landowners that signed petitions and went to meetings to stop this power plant, Larry is now alleging outright fraud, conspiracy and revealing some interesting facts and names of those who had motive, access and opportunity and even some who have admitted their wrongdoing early on, but were ignored. 

There was discussion from Commissioner Frank Pando who said: 

“Mr. Chair, if - - it is a surprise. It is a surprise to all of us. 
But, I do know that in 1999, when we changed the zoning, we were never given copies of the maps.”
“ In fact, there is a whole bunch of property out there that is zoned wrong, and we know it, but it’s colored blue, green purple, whatever. We are correcting this as we go, and Ido not know if this is right, or not. I don’t know.”

Mr. Frank Pando was previously seated on the Valencia County Commission and spoke these comments on the record in Session.

Who really had Motive, Opportunity and Access to the 9-11 Crime Scene?

Richard W. Rahn, a prominent Republican economist, excoriated the administration's telecommunications, antitrust and international economic policies in a Washington Times column April 30 along similar lines.  "From the beginning of the Bush administration, sympathetic, experienced economists have warned its officials about the need to avoid some obvious mistakes," he wrote.  "Unfortunately, these warnings have gone unheeded." 

Richard W. Rahn is an economic columnist, public policy executive, and business entrepreneur. His current public policy activities include serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (which regulates the world's fifth largest financial center), as a senior fellow of the Discovery Institute, and as an adjunct scholar at the Cato Institute.

What does he really mean when he skirts across these categories?  It strikes to the heart of an understanding of the key fundaments and players others have very clear knowledge of when it comes to who did it, their clear unmistakable motive and what they were tying to accomplish and cover up.  Most conservatives are scared that the neo-cons in their zeal might just be sloppy enough to not be able to maintain the momentum of the blitzkrieg Big Picture Plan the elitists have all bought into on all their various levels.  The fabric of what we are looking at is less that schematic and more like a patchwork quilt of compartmentalized familiarity or awareness of what’s going on limited and filtered by a purely cellular view of the world of intelligence as that is the way knowledge is compartmentalized and yet ultimately centrally controlled.  It is that point of Control that the fictional character of Bin Laden as the mastermind of doom in the overall movie scenario seems to defy and vie with on the dramatic stage of the day played, out in the headlines in an endless matrix of lies for the ruminate rabble of consumers to ingest one sound-bite at a time.  He is said to have understood that all lines of communication (i.e., state of the art fiber optic cabling designed to accommodate the fastest and most state of the art digital signals being phased into the phone system and the banks, government and security infrastructures as the latest high-tech assets); they all ended in that set of seven buildings at the World Trade Center Complex. The mastermind Osama, we are led to believe, attacked the building because he selected it at random. Wrong on two counts. 

First of all he is not a mastermind alienated from his rich family, attacking his American Patrons and on the lam.  Secondly, he was not the only one who understood the centrality of that control.  Things are not as it appears and as you go to the top , more and more people become aware of what and why these things are going on, because they also were tangents and complicit in the entire process. 

Arabs do not turn against their families.  The truth is that the rich Saudi families who control the country are beginning to experience the social upward pressure of a burgeoning lower structurally unemployed class that are otherwise a “problem” for their continuing presence in power.  They are, in fact, threatened by a rabble they need to contain and begin to eliminate systematically for their own reasons, so they have forged an ally in our Texas Dynasty of the Bush family, who has had direct access to the highest level of the Intelligence Community at every level. 

There were a lot of fiber optic cables that led to that building as these were the top echelon of the World Banking system and the heads of all the top levels of the CIA, FBI, SEC, etc all the way through the agencies.  On the day of 9-11 throughout New Mexico there were phone trucks at major junction boxes throughout the state parked at their previously assigned points of deployment and within a short period of time they were feverishly digging them up and reinstalling trunk lines throughout the state.  The local phone man I talked to confided in me and said “there must have been a lot of expensive and very important laptops in that building because all the primary cabling was locally divided and routed straight to that complex of buildings.“

These were the guys that had made it to the top of the heap - the central point of control in an otherwise hopelessly grid locked, corrupt federal bureaucracy . The were the highest covert players in the world banking system and had direct feed from the NSA and across the board control over the entire apparatus of the covert world internationally.  The Bush Dynasty had come into the intelligence community under the coat-tails of this upper old-line cold war phyla of agent-controllers.  You can think of everything that represents the intelligence community as a body made of separate boxes that isn’t really one body at all - it is a myriad of creatures or giant crazy quilt composite in one giant form shrouded from the head on top - the only central point of control and an evolving high tech sector in the flux of upgrading to the state of the art technology found itself indicated singularly by the path of revelatory cables that led right to their front door.  The head is the only thing that is central and a common point of reference in the entire picture. The WTC complex was the head inhabited by the top echelon of the intelligence apparatus.  People who were heads of their respective functions and survived on that day by some miracle should be the most suspect.  Like the government agents at the Murrah Building that just mysteriously weren’t in their offices that day along with their children being absent from daycare - strange to say the least.  Coincidence? I think not - look how determined they were to destroy the evidence from any further objective investigation by demolishing the building. Does your local police routinely handle crime scenes in your neighborhood that way?

Basically what occurred is that the opportunistic Bush-Enron types had enjoyed quite a run up in their profits throughout the years when the renegade CIA fresh with ill-gotten booty from its speculations in the guns and drug markets in South America forged close contacts with other present allies such as the Israeli Mossad that were also playing both sides and contracting out their services to less than savory types. These are the same group of players in the energy market along with even rather ordinary consumers that invest in the utility markets that savored some of their wares in the illicit economic markets created by the Arthur Anderson types and the speculators that ran up huge profits in the tech sector before all the secondary suckers got fleeced when that door slammed back in their faces. Also, many of them had cases before the Securities and Exchange Commission , over 4,000 federal cases, that were stored in Building Seven of the WTC. The destruction and implosion of Building 7 defies all scientific analysis and could have only been accomplished with planned staged charges planted on the inside of the building.  No boiler took out that building. It was planned with foreknowledge. Whether the agents of our intelligence community who were part of a major coup d’etat knew it or not, whether they knew others were doing it and just let it happen, or whether the Israelis did it in concert with one or both of these potential realities, the essential facts emerge out of the analysis that the ones who were hungry for power and jealous of the old-liners at the top of the highly vulnerable and centralized intelligence community were the fast-track chicken hawk neo-conservative fascist renegades in the CIA who allied themselves with Zionist Right-wingers in Israel and fascists in Spain, Italy and numerous other coalition countries in order to pull this off. Those are the same people men like Rahn thought were bold and creative luminaries of the Right Wind Agenda early on. 

What they created was a scam to quell the investigations into their errant behavior as the staid reformers at the top may have wanted to cover up such things as the Noriega Affair almost revealed, monetary scams to funnel money into secret Cayman Island banks and general corruption throughout the key sectors I began discussing at the beginning of this article. They sold missiles to the Ayatollah and got caught with that part of the money laundering operation the CIA was running through the Caymans and other countries like Panama and Mexico. But the part that would have revealed, had Noriega sung like the canary they all knew he was, the use of US Military Bases in Panama to smuggle large caches of drugs, primarily heroin and cocaine into the inner cities of America to be sold to the Mafia and the Gangs - that part they managed to cover up by Kidnapping the President of Panama as a Terrorist and putting him in jail incommunicado in Miami forever more without even a properly conducted trial. Hell! Why do you think everyone out there is being so quiet when every convene of correct constitutional comportment is being removed from the law, systematically civil rights are being attacked through the embodiment of the Patriot Act and the citizen and soldiers of the establishment are being enlisted under the guise of Homeland Security into a Real live Police State!? It’s because many of these “investors” know full well that the evidence in those buildings would have surely sent them all to prison for a long time had it not been removed by the phenom of 9-11. 

It is all too pat and the bony finger points right back in accusatory fashion to all those investors who reaped huge profits in those key sectors of the largest economic expansion in the history of all the countries of the world and all the total history of their profits to date since the dawn of recorded history. It all was focused in and by the telecommunications, antitrust and international economic policies of the time. A huge segment of the private sector was invested in these categories - indeed our renegade CIA was quite central to this watershed of corruption - that is why they allowed or themselves murdered a good many of their own agents - to cover up and consolidate in one move. So when Richard W. Rahn, a prominent Republican economist, excoriates the administration for it’s involvement in these areas it’s really because he’s really complaining in Republican snake-speak that he’s pissed that Bush did not maintain the Blitzkrieg mentality and take the Republican Agenda over the top of the Public’s last opportunity to sort this out and create reform and justice where it’s sorely needed.

What he’s upset about is that he senses weakness in Bush and vulnerability to prosecution if Bush abates to try win back public support instead of just not making a pretense about wielding his extreme dictatorial powers. Rahn is really clamoring for a hard line and to cement their party’s supreme control over the American people - damn the election and any public opinion and to do it now! 

So far the Kerry ticket has kept the public believing that there can be reform, albeit that the Arabs that own touch-screen voting technology in the US will see to it that Bush wins anyway. As soon as they reach that summit the large number of democrats bilked out of their vote will really be boiling mad and many will want to chuck it all and fight back, but right at that moment the Neo-Cons have planned another event that will make 9-11 look like a comic book - likely allowing their Zionist co-conspirators to bring in a back pack nuke, deploy it and blame it on the Muslims. 

At that moment the American people will be so terrified they won’t care who did what and government pressure to conform will be almighty. At that time the elitists of the world who have conspired to do this to all of us will reign supreme and they will begin their systematic elimination of the rest of us. Thus they will consolidate their power over the world by using every level of technological expertise and militarism consolidated into one powerful engine of dominance and control. All the people who are remaining silent and apologizing for this macabre situation by invoking patriotism for our invading troops, sanctioning their brutality and abuse by saying it was due to a lack of education and training and all that other clap, they are merely spokesmen for the mind-numbing desensitization of the integral values of our great democratic form of government, and they are co-opting their neighbors with feel-good sound-bytes to get in on the deceit for an endless liturgy of “moral” reasons. All of the silent little lambs are as guilty as the “patriots” who are busily planning our demise for their own aggrandizement. 

What Americans need to know is that on top of all this insult and degradation that they are tacitly involving us in, it is all meant to cover up the great secret that the money they are effectively stealing from the rest of us could have given all Americans a Golden Age at the beginning of the 21st Century and this is what they are squandering as they abdicate and castrate their “personhood” and hand it over to gangsters and killers in corporations who wear ties and tell lies on talk radio. The amount of money made and siphoned off by these gangsters of the business community is beyond the conception of the average wage earning consumer-inmate. He has no clue whatsoever! As you go up the investment chain you get sharper and better honed predators that understand the hunt and the hunted.

The Bush Dynasty and the Bin Laden family, as well as the House of Saud and the Israeli Zionists, have been in on this coup d’etat from the beginning and the American people are being played for patsies, total dupes. The are soft headed undereducated products of their public school systems which have failed them into an institutional state of stupidity fostered by a totally centralized and controlled media apparatus that feeds them a constant line of pap and misinformation, disinformation and confused information. Unless you can afford to read you will not know much.  They ingest 5 major managed news stories and their inevitable pill formed sound-bytes to chirp at the water-cooler like good little bottom-feeders on their break, when they have a moment to sound smart and informed and then they go right back to their desks to continue to shadowbox the apocalypse until they hurry home to watch the game on TV and drink their government drugs and beer to numb their sensibilities to all this. And if they are going to win anywhere they take the divisive path from their fellow citizens and invest in their stock-portfolio, whereupon they reward themselves for the citizen ship they have forfeited in every other aspect of their compartmentalized lives for an advantage under the religion of money. And they buy and sell each other like cattle. Because, just like the intelligence lower level grunts, they too find themselves hopelessly compartmentalized from their fellow man down the block who they know not, unless he’s the subject of a criminal investigation and shows up on their dish-TV-radar screen to be routinely humiliated and singled out like each of them secretly fears could happen to them.  They don’t care who is on the other end of that cable looking back through their V-chip at them - they assume it has to be some good guy, smarter and more patriotic than them, who is entitled by some blood sacrifice and obscure sense of honor to have that right to be there. The thought that it could be some Arab in an Emirate who still rides camels and Mercedes, keeps captive women and spends only gold, certainly not paper money - that thought never crosses their tiny pitiful hopeless minds, unless of course someone made a TV movie out of the idea, then they likely own the video, but they still continually find themselves short of enough brain power and education to connect the dots. Pitiful!

We could have had a Golden Age and the greatest period of peace and prosperity could have spread itself across the planet like a healing salve, but no! - we decided we’d listen to some cheap pistolero gangster from Texas who had friends that wanted to declare war on the world forever for the mutual profit thereof. This is the same man Timothy McVeigh called “The Reaper” - what did that poor bastard know that we don’t know - it should give you pause.

It is my humble belief that the US government has suffered a coup d’etat at the hands of a renegade faction of the CIA and the Intelligence Community. They cut off the head of the apparatus of Intelligence and when they did agents on down the tree of the compartmentalized knowledge base found themselves to be free floating, not knowing who is their superior, who is their control and who is the outside control. Does the control work for the American People or exactly who is the control at all? They just don’t know and in fear and trembling are completely rendered incapable of working cooperatively together and caring on at all in any “normal” fashion, as if agents of this type were normal at all!

Along comes Joseph Lieberman of New York, a prominent Senator who is a Zionist supporter and a member of the Jewish faith and calls them all in out of the cold under the umbrella of a sacred alliance between the Christian West and the Hebrew people and by this invocation, incarnate in the body of the Homeland Security Department, effectively installs a new head on the boxy giant of little boxes. Most of these agents had been sufficiently “impressed” by the long arm of selective assassination practiced by the Mossad and they had seem first hand what their Arian military and monotheistic interrogators could do to an infidel - they didn’t need to be convinced to fear these people - they knew very well what they could do. And they knew they had an angry zealot for a leader and that he had 400 nuclear missiles capable of leveling New York and no effective way to confront their presence in the heart and soul of our defense establishment. And the shock value of the WTC diagrama must have struck total terror in their hearts as the only way out for them was to come out of the cold and kneel before the beast of the NEW World Order.  Either that or go get a real job and a real paycheck and since many of these types of people never have to go beyond the skill of selling yourself and others out - there aren’t many people who owe them favors or owe them good karma for their previous deeds. In fact many of these types of people do not have friends like you and I have, at least that really know the inner workings of their lives. They protect and insulate themselves in a safe house mentality and you don’t develop close friend ships with people on the “outside” of the family you are in when you work in intelligence.

So what we have here is a vacuum of constructive and workable citizenship at a time when the most unworthy and criminal element has wormed its way to the top and many people in between that have been corrupted and sheltered by the same corrupt elements that charmed them into their subterfuge against mainstream Americana. And they remain strangely silent while the men who are said to represent them commit torture and violate the most basic tenants of their democratic values and each time they hold their tongue to strike back they get more and more ensnared by their guilt and further ensnare the general milieu in a conspiracy of silence, identical to the dynamic of Nazi Germany.

Lies, lies nothing but lies and the bony finger of the agenda points right back to the highest echelon of our leaders who had MOTIVE, OPPORTUNITY and ACCESS to the crime scene.  Less circumstantial evidence than this has been used to convict people of capital crimes and subsequent capital punishment.  Treason is a a capital crime and a high crime and misdemeanor.  That is powerful medicine to keep the co-conspirators in line with the spin-masters.

America needs some real powerful spiritual and material intervention right now. Americans need to pray to their God that these evil doers don’t victimize them all with something so terrible that the truth will perish in the shudder of fear that they will feel and leave them like a frozen rabbit in front of a speeding blitzkrieg of a train. This especially should motivate them to strip away the false veneer of their leader’s rhetoric and examine his darkest motives and those of his associates foreign and domestic.

Wake up America, because this is your last chance and you can’t presume that the elections are going to be fair or even workable. We must corral these people and protect what evidence there is left, lest it too be destroyed in another one of their “scenarios”. I pray for you America, because unless you come to your senses none of you will ever be the same again.

Please - I implore you to organize and unite to reform your government and civil rights and civic process without compromise.  Do this for yourselves, your children’s children and the world, before the chance is taken away from you by the demonic forces you are allowing to coarse through your civic body, your press, your schools and your homes.  Defend America! Don’t defend scoundrels!

Ignorance of the Law is no excuse.  The supreme law of the land is the US Constitution of 1791 and the protections from the unfair exercise of that Law is the Bill of Rights.  Silence is complicity.

Your participation in bringing the malefactors to Justice is a moral obligation, not a personal choice, as you took and oath of loyalty when you became a citizen.  You did vow to protect the Nation, not the private assets of the citizens.  You did not vow to protect tyranny for money and glory, you swore to uphold the Constitution from enemies foreign and domestic.  By now you should realize that the political system is bankrupt and immoral.  You should realize that we are living in an age of spiritual faith and that no political leader will lead us out of this darkness - only a man of great faith in tune with the Almighty by whatever name you call Him or Her or the Earth itself will be able to unite us beyond our material interests.  Love each other and protect the Human family from those who live for Conquest and egoism and obscure power.  You can fight back using every ingenious tool at your disposal, but you must do so by binding your communities together in common fellowship.  The precepts of the Green Party are the ideal methods for local empowerment, as you must change the political flow from the top down to one that derives its impetus from local people and issues on up. You must break the bonds of partisanship for either is a prescription for further doom - you must bond with your neighbors and become self-sufficient as a community starting by producing your own food locally.

You must strive to bond to each other based on the real, not the imagined, needs of people and you must define and accept healthy limitations on what you expect government to do for you.  Above all you must be realistic, so choose wise limits you can really live with, and demand that your public officials cease offering you red-herring legislation and feel-good moralistic sound bytes crafted for their own self-aggrandizement.  Above all you must hold them accountable to good fiscal policy and do not tolerate those who woo you with pork as it is a stab in the heart to all of your other fellow citizens just so you can get yours.  Being served is learning how to serve others in the highest and do not do this for a reward - do it because it is your duty and your honor to do so. If you must bank, then tear up your credit card and get beyond such bondage, as it is little more than slavery and indentured servitude in disguise.  As a community refuse to cooperate with laws that are unconstitutional and illegitimate, such as those that pretend to "clean up society".  Dare to be free and let others live out their mistakes in the light of day.  We will only benefit from a society where others no longer have to hide their prescribed "sins", but where all of us will be free to see and judge for ourselves their errant behavior in the light of a free day.  Then you can rise to the top of whatever level of class you really have, not the one they would yoke you with.  Tear up your credit cards and remove money from any bank that requires on its disclosure form that you waive your fourth amendment rights to a trial by jury in order to have an account in their bank.  Remove mandatory insurance laws from the law books as they also are a violation of the Constitution as they force you to pay a tithe to a private interest mandated by government such a "law" is a total contravention of the Public Interest by Private Invaders of the Public Trust.  Public Regulatory Commissions are violations of the Public Trust if they exercise "quasi-legal" rights falsely endowed to them by errant politicians conspiring to deceive.  Demand the removal of laws from the books that pretend to protect society from itself, when in fact they are only tools of entrapment and degradation designed to divide and conquer a cowed and confused citizenry easily driven to further degradation and jacked for illicit tithing or as you call it "taxes".  Taxes are voluntary and you should be proud to contribute to your government, but you deserve and should demand accountability on where your donations are spent and how and by whom.

Throw the money changers out of the Temple of Good Governance and tell them to get in line like everybody else and put their backs to the task of preserving America.  Realize that Politics is the art of selective annihilation by means of a pen, a pulpit and the purse strings and do not adhere to this meanness any longer.  Reach out to your friends and neighbors in faith and attendance - these acts of decency will prevail over organized savagery. Refuse to listen to those who go to the best schools, come from the best families and have the oldest money on the planet.  They serve only wealth and privilege - you must revere and reward service to others and cease to measure that by the yardstick of money.  Do not listen to those who claim to know more than you - they are evil or they would have kept you educated all along so you would be in the position to cope for yourself and not be confused.  If you've been kept in the dark and fed a lot of excrement it's because to them you are just a mushroom in a controlled dark environment. Step out into the light and heal the sky with your attendance to her pain - Mother Earth and her tiniest creatures are dying at the hands of these demonic entities that have conscripted our governance unto themselves and their greed.  All of these living things cry out to you to consciously assist their living processes as you are a part of a much larger sacred chain of wholeness and wellness.  Above all you have a right to fight for your survival and for the betterment of the human family, but you have no such right to fight for conquest, glory or wealth.  You are a Citizen Soldier not a Consumer Inmate - raise up your head and be proud that you know that and take a breath of fresh air and do whatever you have to do as you adhere to your Constitutional Moral Obligation to maintain Freedom and Sane Government.  It starts and ends with you in charge of your own mind and governance.  Notice I haven't told you to defoliate Bush, or to Weed Kerry, or fertilize Nader, rather to take control of your own communities in concert with your neighbors apart from partisanship. Green Up America - BE FREE and do not compromise with EVIL.
